I should have used a tripod, many of the shots are not as clear as they could be. There was also excessive camera shake due to mosquitoes trying to devour me. June 19th, hiked into Kenna Cartwright park around 8:30pm with beer, pizza and camera to watch the sun set. This lookout is at the end of sunset trail (square H-1) and features bench, piknic table and super cool geocache. From January 25, 2009, a trip to the hills to ride a cardboard box sled racer down an icy hill. Boats in Victoria, BC, April 2009. Texas beat Houston in extra innings. December 14, 2009 we hiked up the small hill behind the Trades and Tech building for photos. Very temperate winter; no snow on the ground. These were taken on December 31, 2009 in the Batchelor Hills / Lac du Bois area above North Kamloops. We went sledding twice, the second time hit dirt then went for photos instead. Someone had dropped off a pile of pallets and a green couch in preparation for a new years eve bush party. This is from January 22, 2010 at Thompson Rivers University and (I think) the 28mm series E lens. This is Kamloops from the top of Battle Street, my daily trek to work. This is a sigma 10-20mm lens which is super wide angle but not that sharp, so image quality on this isn’t great. This is Frank Slide. In 1903, a giant slab of limestone broke free from the east face of Turtle mountain. The slide stopped when it reached the opposing side of the valley. It destroyed a small part of the town Frank and killed about 90 people. The interpretative centre was killer, the best I’ve seen, and I’ve seen like 10, or something. I’ll post more pics from this trip, but for now you get this wicked panoRAMA! |
